About

Cinsaut is an OG (Original Grape) of the South African wine industry. With the rise in its popularity amongst younger winemakers and increased demand for lighter styled reds from consumers, the industry is seeing a spike in the quality of Cinsaut. A beautiful table wine without a crazy front label or price tag. Chill slightly and drink with lunch and warm summer dinners. Landskroon (est. 1692) is currently owned by the families of Paul and Hugo de Villiers. The cellar is situated on the south-western slopes of Paarl Mountain, where the De Villiers family has been winemakers for five generations.

Product Features
  • A medium-bodied red wine with sweet red cherry flavours backed by attractive light oak.
  • Soft tannins with a lingering finish.
  • Grapes were harvested during the cool of the day at 24.5°B, destalked and transferred into closed fermenters where a portion of the juice was withdrawn to achieve better concentration and colour.
  • Fermented between 25-26 °C.

Making a cup of tea for someone is a more complicated process than you first think

Which way are we leaning: Rooibos or regular? Milk: yes or no? The standard sugar inquiry, a two-part question if the first answer is yes.

And if you have your black belt in tea-making, one final question concerning the tea bag: in or out?

How are you supposed to remember that all if you're making tea for, oh say, 3 people?

It doesn't concern today's deals at all, but we had to think about something while we waited for the kettle to boil.
